His friend and coach, Sandeep Baisoya, nicknamed ‘Tiger,’ recognized Nitin’s potential and motivated him to consider bodybuilding as a career path. With Tiger’s guidance, Nitin dedicated himself to training and eventually found remarkable success in various bodybuilding competitions.
In 2017, he took part in the Manjula Classic competition, clinching the top spot in both the Classic Bodybuilding category and the 90 kg bodybuilding category.
He also secured the second position in the Amateur Bodybuilding category. The subsequent year, 2018, marked his victory at the 36th Natural BodyBuilding Union International (NBBUI) Mr. World competition.
